Rachel Gaffney's Real Ireland is an Irish lifestyle brand created in 2002.

Rachel was born and raised in Cork, Southern Ireland. Before moving to the United States in 1996, she lived and worked in London for seven years. 

Rachel lived in Chicago before moving to Dallas, where she now resides with her family.  Over the years, people would frequently ask about  Irish food, fashion, and customs. Rachel noticed their perception of  Ireland seemed to be far removed from the Ireland she knew and loved.  More often than not, they were surprised to hear about Ireland's world-class food.

As the years passed, it became painstakingly evident that she needed to change this narrative. To Rachel, it seemed as though the modern, vibrant Ireland was escaping people's attention. 

And so began this journey, to bring the very best of Ireland to people's lives by introducing the food producers and chefs,  fashion designers and craftspeople,  authors and painters,  innovators and catalysts, castles and country house properties.

Rachel brings you the very best through her bespoke trip planning service. Rachel worked in the hotel industry before moving to the United States. Her in-depth and insider knowledge is hugely beneficial when matching a client with a property.
