I would be remiss, if I did not share with you, the things I see happening to people either before they leave for their trip or while they are on their trip. 

I urge you to think about this carefully. Not having insurance, could ultimately be very costly in the long run.

Last year alone (2024) here are some things I witnessed. 

1. A young healthy family, were one week out from going on their trip to Ireland. They did not want to take out travel insurance. It was, of course, their call. I can only advise or recommend. They received the bad news that a grandparent had suddenly become ill and only had a few weeks to live. The trip was cancelled. 

2. A group of ladies were in Ireland. One had a fall. Not a dramatic fall from a cliff or castle ruin, but from a pavement. Out of the entire group, only 1 lady took out travel insurance, and thankfully, it was the lady who had the fall.
